Preparing for the Nether Expedition
The Pre-Nether stage focuses on gearing up for one of the most content-packed parts of the modpack. Armor enchantments, fire resistance potions, and upgraded weaponry are all good things to prioritize during this time.
Players will gain access to Cincinnacite, and Cell-Infused Steel to begin upgrading their gear and weapons. These new weapons will note a large bump in power, also around this time is when players begin to finish filling out their basic skill tree and gain access to their subclass.
Key bosses to defeat are the Frost Monarch, the Mutants, the Gauntlet, the Chaotic Spawner, and the Elder Guardian. With the drops from these bosses you should be able to create Magic Alloys which opens up for Spellblades to be played by Mages and Martial classes alike, being able to craft blades with the innate spell of "SpellStrike" allowing magic damage to be done with melee attacks.
